Feyre survived Amarantha's clutches to return to the Spring Court—but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can't forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people.
Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms—and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future—and the future of a world cleaved in two.
With more than a million copies sold of her beloved Throne of Glass series, Sarah J. Maas's masterful storytelling brings this second book in her seductive and action-packed series to new heights.
This book KILLED me. I loved every second of this!
This is the second story in the A Court of Thorns series by Sarah J. Maas.
After what happened under the mountain Feyre is destroyed. Every night she is up feeling sick and disgusted with what she had to do. Even though she has returned to her love, Tamlin, she still doesn't feel the same as before Amarantha. She feels lonely and suffocated by the spring court.
When Feyre was under the mountain she made a deal with the devil, aka Rhysand. One week out of every month Feyre must stay with the High Lord of the Night Court. At first she hates him, but then she starts to uncover secrets, that could wreck the careful walls she has put up. Rhys and Feyre go on a wild goose chase to save Pythian from dark forces. And with a war on the way, what else could possibly go wrong?
Ughhhhh this book was just perfect. I loved seeing Feyre's struggle with herself and how she overcame that through out the book. There were sooo many twists and turns I was completely shocked. I loved Rhysand so much and all of the other characters in his inner circle. So excited to read the next book in the series!
