Hello! My name is Elle and this is my blog, read over heels with Elle. I'm a midwestern girl totally obsessed with reading and all things books! I've been reading for forever. Actually funny story, when I was younger and I started learning how to read I actually had a hard time with reading! Can you believe that? Fast forward years later and now I read about 15 books on average every month. One of the things you'll get to learn about me is I LOVE dogs. I have two dogs and they're both some type of doodle. One of my dogs is a girl and she is named Goldie. We named her Goldie because her fur is golden. My other dog is named Bruiser and he is a boy we named him Bruiser after the dog that Elle Woods has in Legally Blonde. I am also a lover of Kombucha and Tea. And lastly I'm absolutely addicted to music. I could listen to music all day, every day!
I have many different passions and I love all of them fiercely. I love reading, playing tennis, playing guitar, learning new things, baking/cooking, watching movies, exploring new places, and going out in nature.

Some of my favorite movies are Breakfast at tiffany's, Walk the line, Legally Blonde (of course), The proposal, and Wind River. Some of my favorite TV shows include Schitt's Creek, Homeland, Friends, The Bachelor/Bachelorette, and Outlander.

God this is so hard. My playlist is almost to 1,500 songs. LOL. I love Taylor Swift, Pop, Contemporary country, Indie pop, Folk, Rap, R & B, and Dance music.
I love to branch out and read new things. I'll read young adult, new adult, thrillers, fantasy, contemporary fiction, historical romance, and so much more. My favorite authors include Katee Robert, Kennedy Ryan, Pam Godwin, Kandi Steiner, Lisa Kleypas, Laura Thalassa, Helen Hoang, Vi Keeland, Calia Read, Tessa Dare, TJ Klune, Jessica Hawkins, Mariana Zapata, R. S. Grey, Tillie Cole, Charleigh Rose, Penelope Douglas, Elle Kennedy, Giana Darling, and T.M. Frazier.

I Started this blog in July 2020 because I realized I could tell people what I thought about the books I read and they would actually cared. I've always wanted to start up a blog but have never gotten that push before now. There are way to many books in the world for me to ever read in my life time, but I want to try. And thats my reading taste in a nutshell!

Review Policy
Here on Read over Heels with Elle, I will be reviewing the books I read. It will mostly fall into sub-genres of romance. I switch up my reading taste from here and there, so I try not to read the same genre or type of book in a row.
In my reviews, I tell you what I think and why I think it. My goal is to share my love of books to others and urge them to read what I love! My ratings and reviews will be my own personal opinions and are in no way influenced by publishers or authors who may have sent me books to review. My reviews are in no way meant to offend the author or others who enjoy those books, they only state my personal opinion while reading the book.
