There’s no absolution for the things I’ve done.

But I found a way to control my impulses.

I became a priest.

As Father Magnus Falke, I suppress my cravings. As the headteacher of a Catholic boarding school, I’m never tempted by a student.

Until Tinsley Constantine.

The bratty princess challenges my rules and awakens my dark nature. With each punishment I lash upon her, I want more. In my classroom, private rectory, and bent over my altar, I want all of her.

One touch risks everything I stand for. My faith. My redemption. And even my life.

As if that could stop me. I need her pain, and her heart, and she needs my lessons in sin.

This book was so much fun! I loved how taboo and forbidden this love was. This is definitely one of Pam Godwin's tamer dark romances. There is definitely still steam, but less darker subject matters in this book.
Tinsley is the youngest of her family and has been protected her whole life from being independent. After being rebellious and doing normal teenage things her mom decides to send her to an all girls catholic school. (Heroine is 18). She is furious with her mother about this and the whole first half of the book is her trying to get in enough trouble for her to be expelled. Thats when Father Magnus comes in.
Magnus became a priest in a very interesting way. Something happened nine years ago that changed him and made him want to become a priest. He is a very controlled, cold person on the outside. But on the inside he really cares for Tinsley and wants what's best for her.
So over the course of this book Tinsley tries everything she can to get under his skin and to get expelled. But in the process she slowly starts to have an undeniable attraction towards him. And he feels the same towards her.
I really enjoyed this one! I loved how we had so much angst and turmoil over how Magnus would punish her for her wrong doings and that was apart of their foreplay. This book does have some bdsm aspects but its not to overpowering on the relationship. I really felt for Tinsley and how badly her mother had treated her, her whole life. I also really loved Tinsley's brothers. I know there is a book by K Webster about her brother Keaton. I loved Tinsley's companions. Even though this is a very taboo book it didn't feel uncomfortable or gross. There is an age difference so be aware of that going in. Definitely go check this one out once it releases later this month!
