I met him, the man of my dreams.
On the worst day of my life.
Catching my boyfriend out was bad.
Coming of the club in a daze, I stumbled upon a situation which was worse.
Much worse.
And it would have been deadly too,
If he wasn’t there to save me.
My unsuspecting hero.
He was rugged, wild and powerful.
The way he looked at me set me on fire.
He was wrong for all the right reasons, a bad man with a good heart.
And I fell, way too hard.
Things started to go amiss and pieces of the puzzle are missing.
Why was he there that day, who is he really?
I’m so confused.
My head and heart are in a battle to the death.
Do I leave with my head.
Or stay and love with my heart.
Publishers note....This is a full length, stand alone, romantic suspense.
Play Along is a dark, suspenseful romance. Our main character gets kidnapped and taken to this cargo ship . This ship isn't like any other ship it sells illegal things. The hero takes the heroine under his wing, and asks her to "play along" so people will think they're together, because if he doesn't claim her as his the other guys will want her/ try to take her for themselves. I really liked this book and flew through it in one sitting. My only problem with this book was the ending. This is a dark romance book and the author gave it the usual epilogue, settle down in the suburbs with a husband and two kids. I felt the ending didn't fit the rest of the book. Thats why I ended up taking a star off. Other wise I really enjoyed this book! If you like dark romance, I'm sure you'll love this one.
